August - May
I have been involved with the design and building of things since I can remember! From August to May I am a Assistant professor at a local college.
I am also licensed Technology Education Teacher and hold a Masters and a C.A.S in leadership and communication. On a daily basis I teach about drawing, computers, photography, storytelling, material science, design, and how Technology affects civilizations around the world.
The process of problem solving and the design process is deeply important to me, and I think that shows in everything we build.
Business
I started my own outdoor design/build business in the early 2000’s after learning to love it as a 17 year old working in Seneca Falls NY for a large landscaping firm. Before that I was working on a farm. I have always had the outside on my inside so to speak.
I love working with clients to design beautiful spaces and solve problems in their landscapes. My favorite process is walking clients through nurseries during the design process and choosing plant materials to compliment their home.

Family
My wife is an English Teacher and our daughter Tessa is a big part of our lives these days. We love to hike and travel together and we just bought a small used camper to get our little girl out and into the world a bit more while she is young.
